Geotechnical Design Engineer

Geotechnical Design Engineer

  • Salary THB 18,000–30,000
  • B.Eng. Civil / Geotechnical
  • Full-time
  • Office + site

Mon–Sat 08:00–17:00 (alternate Saturdays off)

Responsibilities
  • Interpret boring logs and laboratory test results to select soil parameters for design
  • Calculate bearing capacity and settlement of shallow foundations and piles, and recommend pile type, size and length
  • Design and check slopes, retaining walls, excavation support systems and ground improvement
  • Run geotechnical analyses with software such as PLAXIS 2D/3D, GeoStudio (SLOPE/W, SEEP/W) or equivalent
  • Prepare geotechnical reports, design calculations and supporting 2D drawings
  • Coordinate with clients, designers and field teams, and help scope work for quotations
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
  • Thai professional engineering license (กว.), civil, Associate Engineer level or higher
  • Sound knowledge of soil mechanics and foundation engineering, with at least 1 year of geotechnical design/analysis or foundation experience
  • Good command of MS Office (Excel) and AutoCAD
  • Able to travel to sites upcountry from time to time
Preferred
  • Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering (considered in place of experience)
  • Experience with PLAXIS, GeoStudio or LPILE
  • Able to read and write technical reports in English
  • Driving license

Pile Testing Engineer

Pile Testing Engineer

Mon–Sat 08:00–17:00 (alternate Saturdays off)

Responsibilities
  • Plan and supervise field pile tests: Dynamic Load Test (PDA), Seismic Integrity Test (PIT), Static Load Test (compression, tension, lateral) and Sonic Logging (CSL)
  • Install sensors and instruments, and run tests to standards such as ASTM D4945, D5882, D1143 and D6760
  • Analyse signals and test data to assess pile capacity and integrity
  • Prepare pile test reports and explain results to clients, contractors and project consultants
  • Check site readiness and safety, kentledge/reaction systems, and maintain test equipment
  • Lead the field crew and help scope work for quotations
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • Thai professional engineering license (กว.), civil, Associate Engineer level or higher
  • At least 1 year of experience in pile testing, foundation work or construction supervision
  • Able to use MS Office (Excel) and AutoCAD
  • Able to work outdoors in the field and travel upcountry
Preferred
  • Hands-on experience with PDA / PIT equipment or Static Load Tests
  • Knowledge of ASTM standards for pile testing

Structural Inspection Engineer

Responsibilities
  • Plan and supervise structural inspections of buildings, factories, bridges, piers and machine foundations
  • Supervise non-destructive testing (NDT) such as rebound hammer, UPV, GPR rebar scanning, concrete coring and pull-out tests
  • Supervise floor load tests and crack surveys/recording
  • Analyze test results, assess structural strength and prepare engineering reports
  • Coordinate with clients, explain results and propose repair/strengthening options
  • Supervise assistant engineers and the field team, and help estimate the scope of work for quotations
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Professional engineering license (COE) in civil engineering, Associate Engineer grade or higher
  • At least 1 year of experience in structural inspection/testing or construction supervision
  • Able to read structural drawings; good command of MS Office and AutoCAD
  • Able to work in the field and travel to other provinces
Preferred
  • Experience using GPR, UPV or rebound hammer equipment
  • Able to use structural analysis software such as ETABS or SAP2000
  • Car driving license

  • Prepare, check and maintain test equipment
  • Coordinate on site and support engineering work as assigned
Qualifications

Responsibilities
  • Plan and supervise topographic surveys, leveling, setting out and benchmark/control point work
  • Operate total stations, GNSS RTK, levels and survey drones (photogrammetry / LiDAR)
  • Process survey data, prepare topographic maps, contours and sections, and calculate cut–fill volumes
  • Check data accuracy and prepare reports for clients
  • Supervise assistant engineers and the survey team; coordinate with clients and on site
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Survey Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related field
  • At least 1 year of survey experience; able to use total stations and GNSS RTK
